Debt Settlement Lists Leads

When marketing for debt settlement lists leads it can be very competitive and expensive since many debt settlement companies think their only option is to purchase high priced internet leads or telemarketed hot transfers. There is a better and less expensive way to generate those good, qualified debt settlement leads and lists. We will get to this better way in a bit but lets talk about internet and hot transfer leads first.

Now, not to pick on internet or hot transfers because some of these types of leads can perform well depending on the provider, however, unless you are willing to pay tier 1 prices for exclusive or semi exclusive leads, you will have to compete with several other companies who the leads have been sold to.

In addition, many companies will not disclose that many of these leads they generate do not satisfy the average debt amount your firm needs to make a debt settlement deal profitable. Also, as far as internet leads, since this information is self reported by the person filling out the web form, most times the phone numbers are bogus because the applicant expects and would rather be initially contacted by email. This makes sense right? This fact alone makes internet leads a poor performing lead for debt settlement companies who do telemarketing.

If you decide you still want to use internet leads, we strongly advise doing a phone append to the file before you call the leads. A phone append will add 2-3 cents per record but it should increase the dialable phones numbers from about 40% pre-append to roughly 60-70% after the phone append increasing the integrity of the phones.

As far as TV and Radio ads, your message is what will get your phone ringing. The downside of TV and Radio besides the expense is the fact that they will generate many random and unwanted calls and you will find the debt load to be much lower than if you were marketing to a targeted list of consumers with a minimum of $20,000+ of credit card debt (extremely High or high debt) and who are currently late on at least one credit card payment.

So, a least expensive way to generate targeted consumers for debt settlement lists leads without having to depend solely on TV, Radio or Internet would be to use a list that can accurately identify prospects who have the debt load and the desire to straighten out their financial problem. These lists work in both telemarketing and direct mail.

There is no magic genie that will provide better debt settlement lists leads instantly. Diversifying your marketing efforts will ultimitely pay off and when you find the combination that works, stick with it until it stops working.

Learning and absorbing what is working and more importantly what does not work will lead you to the "Holy Grail" of good qualified leads that will guarantee a productive future for you and your company.
